1 Peter 3:18
"For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;"
Jesus Saves Alone!
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Salvation is wholly by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ!
The Bible tells us in Acts chapter 4
“And there is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven that
has been given among men by which we must be saved.”
The Bible also says in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verses 3 and 4
"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received,
that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures."
We can only be saved by confessing our sins and placing our faith in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, Who although being perfect and holy (without sin), died and paid for our sins on the cross.
We must also surrender our life to His Lordship (giving Him complete control of every area of our life).
